George Washington stopped here fore refreshments and conversation | Paul Revere considered us one of his favorite watering holes | George Washington's funeral speech was given here | If you're not hungry, aren't you curious?
Located in the heart of historic Charlestown, not far from Bunker Hill, the Warren Tavern dates back to 1780 and was a favorite watering hole of Paul Revere. Today, casually-dressed area residents use the tavern as a neighborhood hangout, watching the Sox and dining on sturdy comfort fare (angus burgers, porterhouse pork chops, stuffed quahogs). Live music is featured on Wednesday and Thursday nights, and weekend brunch service proves popular. |back|
